Chongqing Zhongxu School affiliated to East China Normal University (a nine-year education school) is located at No. 702 North Songshan Road, Liangjiang New Area, Chongqing. It covers an area of about 3 hectares, with a building area of 33,000 square meters and 22 A-STEM laboratories. Over 1,000 students and more than 150 faculty members registered in the autumn semester of 2021. Among them, there are 2 senior teachers, 3 special-grade teachers and 15 municipal backbone teachers and above.

To cultivate a new generation who create the future, we follow the motto of "Love the whole world, unite action and knowledge", adopt learning methods such as "Five Academies" and "C-PBL", and explore learning and practice spaces such as "Future City Lab". The school has successively become China STEM Education Demonstration School, Learning Literacy and Project Learning National Alliance Partner School, CSEA Youth Sports School, Skill Level Standard Test Center School, Chinese Character Aesthetic Education Demonstration School, etc.
