Zhoushan Potuo Zhongxu Experimental School of A-STEM covers an area of 3.4 hectares and a building area of 19,000 square meters. It has innovative laboratories with 20 themes, such as "Da Vinci Flying Bionics", "Future Urban Design", "Building a Wonderful Life", "Embracing Future Pastoral" and "Robot Laboratory". We have 33 mini classes with more than 900 students and promote the development of A-STEM education. On the basis of completing the national curriculum with high quality, we have independently developed the "Five-color Flower" moral education course, the Four-learning moral education course, the A-STEM innovation and practice course and the immersive foreign language course. We have also provided "one-stop" promotion, customized counseling and hosting services.

The school has been rated as Putuo District Youth Creative Science Experimental Base, Zhoushan "Civilized Campus", "Garden Unit", STEM Experimental School and Zhejiang Standardized School. It has become a demonstration base of STEM Alliance in China, popular science research and education base of Beijing Education Association, and a postdoctoral research base of East China Normal University, and has formed sister schools with Dalyat EL Carmel and Revivim National Primary School in Israel, and established a friendly and cooperative relation with Hamelin-Laie International School.
